Joe Amadi-Echendu is a registered Professional Engineer in South Africa and a Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom. He is a polymath with over 45 years of work experience in both academia and industry (manufacturing, mining, petrochemical, utility). Joe continues to serve as Emeritus Professor of Engineering and Technology Management at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and also as an Extraordinarius Professor of Operations Management at the University of South Africa. Professor Amadi-Echendu concurrently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management (www.iseam.org), as well as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the International Association for the Management of Technology (www.iamot.net).
