Eghosa Urhoghide is a public sector leader with over a decade of experience in technology governance, regulation, and innovation. He currently serves as the Managing Director of the Edo State Information Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), where he leads efforts to digitise government operations and improve public service delivery across the state.

Under his leadership, ICTA has implemented wide-ranging e-governance reforms, enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accountability in government services. He is also driving initiatives to build a secure and modern digital infrastructure, while equipping civil servants with the tools and training needed to operate in a tech-enabled environment.

Before joining ICTA, Eghosa held key roles in both the public and private sectors. At the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), he served in the Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Department, where he supported regulatory compliance and enforcement in Nigeria’s telecommunications sector. His private sector experience spans finance, investment, and healthcare, with roles at QUMMIF Investment Fund, Cobam Healthcare Systems, and Partnership Investment Company Plc.

Eghosa holds an MSc in Financial Economics from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Portsmouth. His career reflects a blend of fund management, regulatory insight, project execution, and strategic leadership in digital transformation. He remains committed to advancing innovation in governance and contributing to Nigeria’s journey toward a fully digital economy.
