About the Nigeria Data Challenge 2025
“Decode Nigeria: Where Data Tells Our Story”
The Nigeria Data Challenge is a nationwide competition for secondary school students (ages 13-18), designed to ignite passion for data and digital safety. Organized by Digital Africa in partnership with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), and ActionAid, we’re bringing this mission to all 36 states and Abuja.
Objectives
• Host hands-on competitions at the school, regional, and national levels
• Tackle themes like online safety, data protection, and AI ethics
• Award life-changing prizes: cash (up to ₦2M), lapt
